Matthew 5.6
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
Personal Reflections Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, yearn for something deeper than the physical food and drink. They yearn for the ultimate restoration of right relatedness. They are invited to come to buy “without money and without cost” from the One who has come to satisfy our hunger and thirst – Jesus Himself (cf. Is 55.1-2).
What comfort can we take from the verse in our quest for righteousness? How much do you depend on Christ to satisfy your desire to make things right?
