As the church grows, one of the best ways to get connected on a deeper and personal level is through a care group. The CG Ministry focuses on the spiritual and socio-emotional needs of each member and worshipper. It aims to promote community and care, mutual support, encouragement and accountability for the purpose of spiritual growth and maturity.
Ultimately, its vision is to glorify God by being disciples in a disciple-making community of Jesus Christ. (Specifically, disciples are believers of Jesus Christ who are growing, serving and reaching out to others for Christ). This vision has three components: (a) An authentic, biblical community; (b) embraces intentional disciple making; and (3) impacts the world for Christ, starting with where God has put us.
Presently, there are 32 Care Groups led by trained leaders and assistants. These groups are divided into six clusters which are overseen by six pastors and assistant pastors. A leadership team consisting of pastors and lay-leaders oversee the administration and direction of the CG ministry.
